The pub is situated in the picturesque village of Mere Brow, Nr Tarleton.  Six miles East of the seaside town of Southport. Close to the Leisure Lakes with superb bike shop, Caravan and Camping Site.   The Riverside Caravan Park, Martin Mere Wildfowl Trust, Salmon Fishing at Mere Beck Fishery, and an abundance of good coarse fishing venues including Leisure Lakes, Sephton Farm and Bannister House Fishery.

Southport is also well known for its' golfing history with many quality courses within a short distance including Southport Old Links, Hesketh, Royal Birkdale and Hillside.  Extremely close to the pub is a very good nine hole golf course at the Leisure Lakes Golf Academy which is extremely popular. Also there are many 12 bore shoots in the area. 


Plenty to do before you settle into our homely surroundings and good company. Enjoy a pint and some of the best home cooked food in England.  We will do everything in our power to make you welcome.
