Lancashire Night - this is official Lancashire day and we are celebrating with a traditional Lancashire night with fancy dress prize for the best traditionally dressed person (ie. clogs, braces, cloth cap etc etc)   Food to include such traditional Lancashire delight's as Lancashire Hot Pot, Black Pudding etc etc.   Lancashire beer's on sale. A Quiz on the night will be questions about Lancashire.  All in all a good night to be had.

Our Quiz Night on Tuesday's is proving extremely successful.   Starting at 9.30pm, £1 per person entry fee to take part.   Teams should not exceed five persons as in excess of that proves to be somewhat unfair.   Sandwiches are provided for those taking part.   Prizes are 1st. £25 Meal Voucher, for The Legh Arms obviously.  2nd A bottle of house red or white wine 3rd. A drink on the house upto £5

Just got a couple of new beers conditioning ready for Easter - Flowers IPA and Old speckled Hen, need I say more.  These are in addition to the usual Tetley Cask, Tetley Imperial, Timothy Taylor Landlord and Charles Wells Bombardier

We have now added to our regular Menu 'The Legh Arms Mighty Mixed Grill' for those who have a hearty appetite - not for the faint hearted.      Sirloin steak will also be offered in quantities to suit you, ie. 8oz - 10oz - 12oz - 14oz - 16oz - or whatever size you want, if it's bigger than 20z please bring a flask and sandwiches as it may take some time to cook, only joking.  Yes you can choose your size.

Easter weekend will be upon us before we know it, at least we may see some sunshine.
Easter opening for food will be:
Good Friday      12Noon - 2pm and 5pm - 8.30pm
Saturday           12Noon - 2pm and 6pm - 8.30pm
Easter Sunder   12Noon - 8pm
Easter Monday  12Noon - 5pm

During March we will be stocking a few new cask ales.   We will continue our regular stock of Tetley Cask Bitter and Timothy Taylor Landlord.     Our other stock of cask ales, Tetley Imperial Bitter known by our regulars as Fettlers Bitter and Charles Wells Bombardier will only be stocked on a rotation basis along with Old Speckled Hen, Flowers IPA, BlackSheep and Jennings Cumberland Bitter.

The reaction from our customer's has been promising, the proof of the pudding will be in the eating, let's hope you all like our choice.
